The Flying Horse Walk celebrates its makeover with a VIP event.

To celebrate its recent £100,000 makeover, the Flying Horse Walk is hosting a VIP re-launch event this evening. 

The walk's most loyal customers and local retailers will be able to see the improvements to the walk and look around the shops, which will all be open until 8pm. There will also be live music from a local jazz band and canapés provided by The Cheese Shop.

Councillor Nick McDonald will be cutting the official ribbon and making a speech to the guests at 6:30pm.

Simon Blair of London & County, who own the walk, will also be attending. He said: "I'm looking forward to tonight's event. It will be a great chance to celebrate the success of the Flying Horse Walk - not only its refurbishment but also the shops themselves. We've had several new shops opening in the walk in the last year such as Apalts, not to mention the expansion of The Cheese Shop, which now runs a café within its larger store."
